As some of you may know, Claire (Kramsch) and I have started a new book series called Routledge Studies in Language and Intercultural Communication. The book aims to publish theoretically informed and empirically grounded research monographs and edited volumes that offer state of the art reviews of and debates in this evolving field. Its aim is to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and methodological innovations, thereby extending the scope of intercultural communication. Titles in this series will inform and influence teaching and learning, business and organizational communication, daily communication, and beyond.
We are very pleased to announce that the first book in the series has been published. Edited by Farzad Sharifian and Maryam Jamarani, Intercultural Communication in the New Era showcases some recent studies in the field in a multitude of contexts. I have attached a blurb in this message. Please feel free to pass it onto anyone you think may be interested in.
If you have any project idea and would like to find out whether it is suitable for the series, please do not hesitate to contact me.
